I tried the mango pomelo sago and it was really fresh and light, perfect for the heat wave we've been experiencing! I like that you can adjust the sweetness too, 30% sweetness was perfect for me. The coconut milk isn't overpowering and adds a nice balanced tropical flavor. The has a good chewy bite to it!

This place is dangerous because I crave boba (my go-to is passion fruit + lychee jelly) and it's far too close to my house. I occasionally get a house boba and those are good, too, and I also enjoy the tofu and chicken. But really... this is the best boba spot on the westside and I've been to all of them on Sawtelle and in the Marina.

Vibey place that we stopped at before our drive back home. Weekday evening and there was a flow of customers coming in and out. Storefront parking may be a little tight depending on the day. Ordering is done on the kiosks and there are benches to wait inside. The reason we came here was for the surprise plushy options at the bottom of the drink cups, which was of course cute and quirky, but the drink I ordered was actually one of the best boba drinks I've had in recent memory (Mango Pomelo Sago with coconut milk). I still dream about it and hope I can come back for it again when I'm in the area.

Aside from the plushy bonus they offer, this place (to me) is basically a Sunright Milk Tea, but a little further south down the 405. I went on a Monday evening around 7:30PM, and there were a lot of people in the store. I recommend ordering online since wait times can vary, and parking in the plaza can be limited. I ordered a house milk tea and a white peach oolong milk tea. The taste is arguably the exact same as if you ordered at sunright, down to the boba consistency and taste. The house milk tea was perfect at 70% sweetness. The white peach oolong tasted a little weird, and my gf ended up throwing away half the cup. It had hints of coffee for some reason, but had a strong peach and tea taste. The boba pearls are a little big and lack an entire flavor profile. The consistency wasn't as bouncy as it was chewy, since it was mainly soft. Some of them also were kinda stuck together. Although the pearls were warm, it doesn't really feel or taste fresh.

The establishment had little parking but was clean and quickly finished my order. The pricing was reasonable at below six dollars. I would definitely recommend this place!

They recently changed their hours, so while they close a little earlier, they're now open every day of the week! Super consistent, and very delicious. I tend to over-buy when coming here, but I'm not complaining. Their fried chicken, fried tofu, and egg rolls are so yummy. They have a BUCKET of tea with multiple toppings! I especially love their caffeine free portion of the menu to make ordering extra clear and easy (and of course fuel my late-night orders). Very cute, but small inside. The center has parking, for even more convenience.

Solid tea shop located in an unassuming strip mall. Place is small, but cutely-decorated and with friendly staff. We ordered from the touch pads and got the drink within 5 min. The jasmine milk tea with cheese foam was solidly-made: while the tea flavor could've been stronger, the cheese foam was thick, creamy, and slightly salty-- very well-made! I'm keen on returning to try out more of their drinks!

When you walk into Ume Tea you almost feel like you're walking into a fantasy land. Everything about it is so dang cute!!! I've been here twice now and the boba teas are delicious. I highly recommend the Brown Sugar Oolong Milk Tea. You can pay a little extra and get a "surprise cup" that comes with a cute little toy in the bottom if you would like. The food is good too, especially the vegetable spring rolls. The staff is friendly and welcoming and fast. Only downside is that it's in a small shopping center and parking can be tight so prepare for that.

After a frustrating work day needed a refreshing drink to cheer me up: I was very happy to visit Ume Tea where they really combine the feeling of U&Me! I loved the Creme Brulee Milk Tea, the creme wasn't too sweet and the boba was nice and soft. Their surprise cups are also TikTok famous (an extra $3.99 for a "blind box" plushie at the bottom of your cup!). The employees were so sweet, they helped each customer that came through the door with recommendations and even took time to chat with me a little bit! Very cute interior, overall a very pleasant experience.
